Re-Ill, a hip hop artist from Atlanta Georgia, has consistently shown fans and professionals alike an unusual style of performance unseen in the independent artist. The charismatic personality combined with a driven passion to succeed, Re-Ill is a force to be reckoned with in the new music industry. A life full of hardships and trials, Re-Ill found his love for music at a young with inspirations following the movie release of "8 Mile" and the sudden influence of fellow friends starting to take their musical crafts seriously.
The opportunity to speak to Re-Ill was truly enlightening as he is one of the hardest working indies from the North Carolina market. The fact that he has continued to improve and grow as a person and an artist over the years is a testiment to his character and passion for the music that he does. One of the best songs I heard from an independent was "Story of a Dreamer" by Re-Ill. The video was beyond impactful and still gives me chills to this day when I see it.
