Bay Area native Tewy didn’t chart a conventional path in the music industry. A lifelong athlete and college football player at the University of Oregon, the now-singer/songwriter honed his work ethic and determination to chase big dreams on the field. Quickly, that natural-born penchant for thinking big and unapologetically pursuing passion evolved into a career in music. A self-taught guitarist and instinctive lyrical experimentalist, Tewy fell hard for the magic of song creation.
His sources of inspiration run the musical gamut – from Quinn XCII to Russ, Chris Brown to SiR, Leon Bridges to Miguel. Tewy’s original yet undeniably- catchy sound perfectly tows the line between Hip- Hop/R&B and Pop. You will hear a genuine appreciation for different genres and generations in his work, notably in such singles as “Caught Up,” and “Don’t Go.”
What’s more: you’ll hear the pitch-perfect melodies of an individual finding purpose in artistry. “I’m having more fun right now than I ever have in my life and I guess that’s all that really matters. All love!”
